Who is This Course For?

This course is designed for guitarists looking to build strong fretting-hand technique and nail every trill you ever play with confidence.

It’s for guitarist’s who:

  • Have “flying finger” syndrome – fingers are too far from the fretboard.
  • Play wrong notes with trills, struggle with note accuracy.
  • Are tired of your technique preventing you from reaching your full musical potential.
  • Want to develop coordination and dexterity in both hands.

I’ve been teaching guitar technique for over 25 years and have seen students make huge progress using these very exercises in their studies.

I want to share with you everything I’ve learned about how to play trills accurately and build your total guitar technique on the fretboard.

Trills are a must-know technique for guitarists to learn with solid technique that ensures they’re played both accurately and smoothly.

But.

If you’re like me, you just trill without thinking and either assume it’s cool or just hope things all work out.

When I started playing guitar, many years went by where I never even thought about trills, I just played them.

The problem was, I hadn’t noticed that my trills weren’t up to snuff, causing me to rush my riffs, licks, and solos.

It caused major problems in my playing, and yet I looked everywhere but trills for a solution.

I couldn’t imagine that trills were the problem.

After fixing my right-hand chops, my left-hand positioning, practicing slowly, and working with a metronome, I was still rushing my single notes.

Then, one day I decided to review an old classical guitar exercise that focused on trills.

I immediately noticed that my fingers were flying off the fretboard when pulling off, causing major timing issues in my notes.

Eureka!

I found both the cause and solution to my rushing problem, trills.

I fixed my trill technique and my rushing became a thing of the past.

And, my playing skyrocketed in the process.

You could say I was happy that I spent that time working on trills in my studies.

After struggling with trills in my own playing, I want you to avoid bad habits, increase your note accuracy, and level up your technique all at the same time.

It is for these reasons and more that I created Fretboard Mastery – Trills.

This course teaches you the exact exercises and techniques I used to develop perfect trills in my own playing.

I know trills aren’t the most exciting technique to spend time on in the practice room.

I know I’d rather be working on advanced soloing concepts or cool new chord shapes.

But.

By working on trills everything you play becomes smoother.

Not only will your trills become more accurate, your overall technique will level up at the same time.

And, you’ll have fun working these exercises, especially when you start to see big results in your playing.

Trill mastery awaits, come take the first step to the new you.
